School Crossing Guard

Directs actions of children and traffic at street intersections and school entrances to ensure reputed company crossings; monitors and enforces school zone speed limits. This position is a non-supervisory classification and receives limited supervision, consulting with Field Supervisor on unusual situations. Candidates must be reputed company to think and react independently to various situations. Work Hours: Three hours per school day; early morning and afternoon. Specific hours are determined reputed company assigned to school On occasion, may be required to work special assignments. The work requires standing for long periods of time.
