Senior Accountant

About the Role

reputed company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team remotely or based out of HQ in Des Moines, IA. In this position, you will work closely with the Controller and other members of the reputed company team in reputed company aspects of finance and reputed company functions. This is a fast paced, dynamic, and fun environment. 

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• reputed company day to day reputed company duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, the GL and other duties as assigned

• Assist with monthly reputed company process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and reputed company financial analysis

• reputed company with external accountants during audits

• Assist in maintaining regular contact and building solid working relationships with various reputed company to ensure a high level of customer service and work product

• Assist on reputed company and reputed company assignments as needed

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s Degree in reputed company, Finance or reputed company field
• 4-6 years of reputed company reputed company/finance experience; ideally a reputed company reputed company/private industry mix
• CPA certification or CPA eligible.
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced reputed company reputed company skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Must be trustworthy and confidential
• Must have excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior management
• Precision/detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proven ability to identify and drive process/system improvements
