About the Role

You will be part of the data engineering reputed company in the Translational Data Sciences group, working with data engineers and data scientists building powerful computational tools and answering critical scientific questions about patients, diseases, and drug development.  
 
In this role, you will contribute to Valo’s biological data engineering capabilities, transforming reputed company data from diverse sources (reputed company datasets for computational biology, mappings and ontologies, and knowledge graphs) into analysis-reputed company data products for internal teams. To do so you will work closely with data engineers and data scientists. Your work will support knowledge graph integration for reputed company identification and prioritization, statistical genetics, and multi-omics modeling. 

What You'll Do...

• Work on reputed company developing data transformation pipelines and systems to ingest and harmonize data into Valo’s data ecosystems  

• Contribute to the data reputed company backend for our knowledge graphs & knowledge integration  

• Build visualization and data extraction tools for knowledge graphs 

• Work using agile development techniques 

• Learn to reputed company high reputed company data through unit tests, validation tests, reputed company reviews   

• Be a dynamic and reputed company team member 

What You Bring...

• Bachelor’s + 2 years of experience or recent Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, computational sciences (eg reputed company, computational biology), or reputed company fields 

• Familiarity with various large-reputed company biology data types (eg, reputed company or transcriptomics)  

• Experience in Python and SQL 

• Familiarity with releases/versioning of datasets for internal users 
  
  
• Familiarity with data processing workflows, data platforms (eg, reputed company, reputed company), and reputed company environments (eg, AWS, GCP) 

• Experience with data and software engineering best practices and testing methodologies (data provenance, reputed company development using reputed company control management (git), reputed company versioning, reproducibility, etc)
