Your role at Hostinger

Creative Copy Team Lead in the Creatives team. As part of Hostinger'sCreatives team, you'll be responsible for leading the team of creative copywriters. You also need to be able to create

short-form advertising copy that performs, engages, and delivers results (brand trust and new billings) while aligning with Hostinger’s brand values, image, and voice.

2. Produce advertising materials for diverse global markets.

I’m currently searching for a

Creative Copy Team Lead to join a team of direct reports.Check out the freedoms and responsibilities of the role and let me know if you’re game!

Your day-to-day

  • Inspire and empower a team of two creative copywriters to achieve their best engagement and performance. Drive creative and operational excellence.
  • Write and review copy for advertising assets (banners, video ads, billboards), brand/product visibility placements, and website hero sections.
  • Craft brand messaging that would stand out in the industry and build brand trust with our existing and potential customers.
  • Work together with the Creative team leads – Creative Director, Graphic Design Team Lead, Lead Video Producer, and Head of Creative Production – to contribute to the operation, performance, and engagement of the whole Creative team.
  • Work cross-team with other writer teams (tutorial writers, PR, YouTube Academy script writers, and lifecycle team that communicates with Hostinger customers) to ideate and develop marketing and communication materials.
  • Gather proof of copy performance. Think of how you will evaluate what lines were successful and what needs improvement. Develop ways of sharing these insights with colleagues to spread impact and awareness.
  • Review the work of fellow copywriters, share feedback, and provide guidance to manage the quality of creative copy and overall brand messaging.
  • Stay curious, check industry trends and the overall landscape of the copywriting craft. Keep a close eye on what competitors are doing to ensure we always stand out.

    • Your skills and experience

  • Native-level American English user (Certificate or proven expertise required). This is important. Hostinger operates in many different markets and languages. American English is the background language we use to craft our creative copy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. This is a must. Your grammar and sense of writing style need to knock me off my feet.
  • Understanding of what’s good and bad copy — and the reasons why (lack of skills, lack of knowledge, wrong sources, process problems, etc.). So you could celebrate achievements or provide feedback and fixes.
  • Your principles match Hostinger’s work principles. I expect you to bring an attitude of ownership and no-nonsense to the team, handle giving and receiving feedback well, invite yourself to conversations where you feel you’ll add value, and be confident and flexible working in iterations to change course if the team needs it.
  • A strategic storyteller. I expect somebody who can craft compelling hooks and tell creative stories that stand out with a strategic, results-oriented approach to ensure both our brand and performance are working in sync.
  • Candidates must submit a portfolio to be considered. I don’t think years of experience define your proficiency as a copywriter. But I want to see the lines you have written and the projects you have led so far.
  • Tech/computer industry writing experience would be an advantage.

    • Compensation

  • Gross salary starting from 3,400 Eur/month (depending on your experience).
