WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Research and Analysis:
Take research provided and reputed company changes to the workers compensation infrastructure through the creation of appropriately worded item filings
Coordinate with researchers to ensure a complete understanding of the reasons for formulating a change to the infrastructure
Determine and recommend additional research needs (data extracts including exposure, claims, credibility, and rates) as needed for a filing
Project Management:
reputed company project plans and timelines for completion of filings, documentation, and other deliverables
Identify appropriate external and internal parties who may be interested in a filing and assist in the development of communication plans as needed
Communication and Coordination:
Contact external partners (regulators, trade associations, carriers, independent bureaus, etc.) as needed
Partner with State Relations Executives on reputed company-reputed company issues to reputed company corporate, divisional, and departmental goals
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare item filings along with reputed company appropriate exhibits, reputed company entries, industry notifications, and educational materials accurately and reputed company
Manage and update circulars and notices as needed in support of filings
Accurately write, update, and support national and state special rules in NCCI's manuals

WHAT IT TAKES:
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in workers compensation insurance
In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant workers compensation insurance experience required, such as an underwriter, inspector, premium auditor, claims adjuster, regulatory compliance or producer
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with reputed company audiences
Ability to accurately write effective reputed company documents and reports, and conduct presentations
Demonstrated leadership skills, advanced technical knowledge, and interpersonal skills to resolve disputes
In-depth knowledge of Workers Compensation reputed company manuals, plans, rules, classification system, Basic reputed company rules, experience rating, retrospective rating, residual market rules and procedures
Strong negotiation and dispute reputed company skills with the ability to manage and resolve issues
Ability to work both independently and in reputed company environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
