Position is located at 5201 Village Parkway in Rogers, Arkansas.
Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with ability to work additional hours as needed.

Job Title: AWM Registered Operations Specialist
The AWM Registered Operations Specialist is responsible for managing mid to high level investment, insurance, annuity, IRA, trades, ACATs, and client support issues. The AWM Registered Operations Specialist must be well-versed and knowledgeable of all processes, procedures, and service level agreements for the Operations department, as well as FINRA and SEC regulatory requirements for investments and state requirements for insurance.

What You Will Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Responsible for maintaining an understanding and competent level of knowledge of all processes and procedures, service level agreements, compliance and regulatory requirements, duties, client responsibilities, and product offerings which flow into the Operations department: investments, insurance, annuities, advisory accounts, IRAs, trades, ACATs, account opening process, wire transfers, etc.
Subject matter expert with advanced knowledge in the following areas: (1) knowledge and understanding to translate the rules and regulations regarding margin and options accounts and (2) knowledge and expertise to advise on all areas of trading.
Accountable for being the subject matter expert and advising on all areas of trading: Equity, Option, Mutual Fund, UIT, Fixed Income, Alternative Investment, etc. while utilizing expertise on placing orders via multiple platforms. Provide a high level of competency while assisting internal and external customers with brokerage needs.
Assist customers with investment transactions; identify and evaluate needed information to help assist with client trading needs. Ensure trades are executed in a timely, compliant, and effective manner.
Responsible for set up and allocation of Block Trading system for internal Portfolio Managers; Updating allocations and rebalancing of models as requested as well as the reconciliation and rebalancing of new updated allocations. Addition/removal of accounts from portfolio and ongoing deposit/withdrawal requests.
Function as the training and continuing education hub for all Fixed Income transactions: train on how to place trades as well as how to view current offerings and build fixed income ladders.
Review and advise on trade corrections, working as the subject matter expert for all corrections; anything from a simple commission adjustment to more complex advisory corrections. Keeping the advisor and manager informed on the process and outcome of a correction while working the monetary loss for the client and/or firm is kept to a minimum.
Advanced research skills and abilities necessary to conduct independent research and analysis for client accounts and propose a solution or direct as needed to proper individuals or departments to assist both internal and external clients.
Accountable for managing brokerage accounts residing in the AWM Arvest1 rep codes.
Proactively collaborate with Client Advisors and clients to ensure responses are timely and compliant. Assist clients and Client Advisors with any issue resolution to clear any discrepancies. Provide direction to Client Advisors and Client Advisor assistants on any exception or NIGO matters.
Responsible for understanding the complex process and review of all Death Put requests submitted and the ongoing monitoring through completion.
Serve as the primary contact for mid-to-advanced level investment, insurance, annuity, stock transfer, and ACAT requests.
Responsible for both managing any duty required of the non-registered AWM Operations Specialist and working as the subject matter expert with systems and providing mentorship and support to the other non-registered AWM Operations Specialist, helping them resolve more complicated requests.
Review/Monitor the Firm Error and Reject accounts and clear any outstanding items.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of AWM, FINRA, and SEC policies and procedures, industry changes and requirements through continued education.
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of investment and insurance products regarding processing procedures, industry changes, and requirements through continued education.
Ensure all FINRA, SEC, bank, investment, insurance, IRA, trading, and departmental policies and procedures are followed.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Bachelor Degree or equivalent military or field experience required.
FINRA Series 7 required.
FINRA Series 63 and 65 (or 66) required.
Life Health/Insurance/Annuity license required.
Knowledge of investment concepts, terminology, styles, strategies, and fundamental investment factors required.
Knowledge of investment and insurance product transactions pursuant to FINRA, SEC and state regulatory requirements required.
Understanding of broker laws and practices required.
Experience with insurance transactions required.
Experience with clearing firm relationships required.
Investment and/or financial sales experience preferred.
Knowledge of investment research preferred.
Experience trading of client accounts preferred.
Insurance license from at least one state preferred.
Masters Degree preferred.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.
