The RN Ambulatory Clinical Educator provides staff development across reputed company reputed company/divisions reputed company the USMD primary, specialty, and imaging ambulatory clinics. In reputed company to the traditional teaching/ education role, the RN clinical educator also acts as a facilitator, leader, mentor and change agent. Primary reputed company for this role is the implementation and ongoing support of the USMD clinical care model in reputed company ambulatory division.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Training: High school diploma or GED. Graduate of an RN approved nursing school RN.
Required Licenses/Certifications: RN required, BSN preferred. reputed company, unrestricted State of Texas RN license and BLS Provider is required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP Instructor level certification is preferred.
Work Experience: Work requires 5 years of reputed company clinical experience as an RN in a health reputed company clinic leadership role.
A Master's Degree in Nursing may substituted for 2 years of required experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Conducts needs clinical skills assessments using a reputed company of strategic tools
Assists learners in the assessment of needs and identification of reputed company
Incorporates principles of adult learning in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs and adjusts content and reputed company appropriately to the learner's needs
Assists with orientation of new clinical staff to the organization
Develops/coordinates education plans reputed company to initial and ongoing competency validation
Develops/coordinates reputed company to address patient population specific nursing care
Plans, prepares, identifies, maintains and evaluates evidence based materials in reputed company types of media and formats for use in educational programs for accuracy and relevance to the reputed company audience
Provides educational opportunities that benefit ancillary clerical staff at reputed company stages of their career development
Delivers competence based programs for ancillary clerical staff with a reputed company upon improvement of skills and retention of knowledge
Supports staff development with educational activities (which include remediation, certification, mentoring, life support, NCQA requirements, product roll-outs, etc.)
Evaluates the effectiveness of educational programming
Prepares short and long term planning and programs to address identified needs
Participates in committees, task forces, reputed company for areas of coverage reputed company organization
Facilitates teambuilding and leadership development
Serves as a role model to promote reputed company and safety
Maintains required educational and/or clinical competencies
