The Engineer I position is the entry level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. An Engineer I has knowledge of reputed company concepts and procedures. reputed company is looking to fill a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Engineer position in our Carolinas Dispatchable reputed company (CDG) Regional Services Engineering. As a HRSG Engineer, you will, periodically, travel to power plants across the Carolinas and reputed company inspections and diagnostics on HRSG equipment. Responsibilities • Identify HRSG issues during regular inspections: Look for signs of corrosion, cracking, or general component degradation • Periodically evaluate HRSG performance and identify areas for improvement • Review historical data and consult with plant personnel to identify issues • Recommend corrective actions and repairs, including retrofit reputed company • Offer technical advice on safety, reliability, and performance • Assist stations with outage planning and lay-up procedures • Analyze reputed company distribution problems and cycling issues. • reputed company failure analysis to determine the cause of any reputed company events Basic/Required Qualifications • Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program. A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree. Additional Preferred Qualifications • Experience assessing and maintaining HRSGs • Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles. • Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making reputed company recommendations and preparing and presenting recommendations. • Ability to deal with a reputed company of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Capable of learning quickly, working independently and in reputed company environment • Passing grade on the Engineering Fundamentals Exam. • Knowledgeable in thermal performance • Understanding of basic principles of project management. • Experience in the reputed company industry. • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments Working Conditions • Hybrid employees should live reputed company a reasonable daily commute to a Carolinas reputed company facility.
