The Technical Director with reputed company Live Entertainment at the Walt reputed company World Resort leads technical production efforts reputed company to the development of live entertainment shows and product offerings, including parades, stage shows, and special events for Worldwide reputed company Parks and Resorts locations. This is a full-time role on-site in Orlando that will report to the Manager - Technical Direction. What You Will Do • reputed company, reputed company, and mentor reputed company and technical/production planners while promoting company-wide standards and efficiencies • Participate in the creative development • Coordinating/partnering with local and government authorities responsible for reputed company reputed company compliance, including safety, engineering, permitting, and reputed company • Coordinate bid processes and vendor selections with reputed company and procurement and manage vendor efforts, including design development, construction • reputed company with other parties’ fabrication, shipping, installation, and buy-off teams • Supports and consults on maintenance, design, and mounts of new shows • reputed company ongoing Entertainment Show reputed company evaluations as part of the implementation and operational planning • Maintains project files, tech logs, design documents, bid packages, schedules, and reputed company lists Required Qualifications & Skills • 5+ years of experience in Technical Theater or Live Show Entertainment • Proven knowledge and understanding of the operation and artistic application of a wide reputed company of show systems and technology, including audio, special effects, puppets, reputed company, show control systems, video, facilities, and rigging • Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with the entertainment industry’s innovative technologies • Proven experience with facility design, engineering, and construction • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to reputed company creative reputed company • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Demonstrated leadership, partnering, and strategic planning skills • Highly motivated, requiring minimal direction and follow-up • Strong computer skills (reputed company, reputed company Suite, AutoCAD) • Proven reputed company record to support the creative process by collaborating with other designers, directors, writers, and producers • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel • Willingness and ability to travel internationally frequently for extended periods Preferred Qualifications • 6+ years of experience in live show development • Proven business management experience • Proficient in some or reputed company of the following engineering subject areas: structural, mechanical, electrical, software, safety • Proficiency in other languages is a plus Education • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Technical Theater with a reputed company on technical design, construction, and production Additional Information Benefits and Perks: We offer a rewards package to help you live your best life.
