NOC Specialist (Government)

Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Monitors, troubleshoots, configures and manages the reputed company (reputed company) voice, data and satellite networks. • Coordinates with reputed company personnel to reputed company Tier 2 "expert" assistance in reputed company aspects of operating and managing the reputed company Transport Network (FTN). • Requires experience with voice and data systems (e.g., reputed company Voice Over IP, reputed company reputed company Audio Conference reputed company, reputed company reputed company Manager, reputed company CUCM reputed company, reputed company PBX, multiplexers, reputed company switches and routers, TCP/IP and reputed company) to include planning, evaluation and configuration of routers, bridges and other devices. • Operation and management of systems associated with satellite tracking, providing digital data service to mobile satellite trucks and portable flyaway dishes. • Work with DHS-NOC and reputed company-NOC to ensure that WAN services at reputed company fixed and disaster sites are operational and assists reputed company engineering to resolve WAN reputed company issues through the DHS and reputed company NOC’s. • Support new hardware/ software acquisition and installation of aforementioned products. • Work is performed at the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC) Network Operations Center, backup location may be Winchester Virginia and may include a requirement to reputed company from personal residence on occasion. • Overtime, shift work and weekend tours will be required. Occasional travel may be required, or other duties as assigned. • Employee must be willing and reputed company to obtain a government issued Top Secret reputed company clearance. Holding a reputed company TS is a plus Required Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and be reputed company to initially obtain reputed company Trust and follow-on TS Our NOC Specialist's earn between $50,000 – $90,000.
