Network Engineer

Job reputed company The Network Engineer IV, under direction, provides technical leadership and reputed company for deployment and delivery of reputed company-wide network engineering reputed company or services. Participates in mentoring, training, and development of other employees. Responsible for upgrading/installing a new, highly secure network implementing reputed company Trust and CMMC level requirements. Responsible for pivotal role in the design/integration/implementation of a secure network with reputed company-segmentation and authentication processes using reputed company ISE, DNAC, and reputed company Firepower reputed company appliances. Location: San Antonio Texas - On-Site Schedule: M-F reputed company - 5PM (40 hours weekly) Responsibilities: • Oversees the design activities for reputed company-level network reputed company. Approves network design plans. • Approves and tests reputed company and plans used to certify reputed company networking reputed company to required installation design standards. • Establishes protocols and processes for problem management and support. Continuously monitors effectiveness of established processes and protocols. • Defines the standards for the development of plans for new networks or upgrades. • Oversees input from clients, system administrators, contractors, and vendors to reputed company specifications and plans for reputed company-wide networks. • Establishes the standards and procedures used to document network engineering designs, and plans and maps reputed company, procedures, problems, and repairs. • Helps establish procedures and standards for the implementation of new technology solutions, including new integration testing. • Helps establish procedures for compliance with reputed company and state network reputed company policies. • Oversees the reputed company processes for the evaluation of new technologies. Makes recommendations and presentations to executive leadership. • Works with various project leaders and executive staff to reputed company work plans and time schedules for reputed company including outlining phases, identifying personnel, and computing equipment requirements. • Documents problems and repairs. • Evaluation of new technologies to determine their applicability with reputed company to clients’ needs. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Five years of reputed company experience in network engineering, routing and switching, wireless reputed company, network protocols, encryption, topologies, overall system integration/convergence, and/or video and data convergence, integrating systems in multi-user, multi-platform, and multi-tasking operating system environments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. • Knowledge of IT architecture, application of systems theory, advanced negotiation skills, reputed company-level operations, multi-team leadership and coordination, advanced project management, advanced vendor relations, advanced business acumen, and change management. • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. • Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Position requires the reputed company of reputed company to heavy items <30 lbs from one location to another. Registration, Certifications, and Licenses: • CCNA or equivalent preferred.
