Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
? Analyze and interpret customer specifications to understand their unique applications.
? Engage in direct communication with customers to address and resolve technical issues.
? Customize standard modular components to fulfill specific project requirements.
? Evaluate and enhance existing designs for optimal performance.
? Design custom parts using Autodesk Inventor, focusing on both durable and consumable tooling.
? Utilize our extensive library of standard hardware components in designs.
? Create detailed 2D drawings to guide manufacturing and assembly operations.
? Prioritize designs for cost-effective manufacturing and easy assembly (Design for Manufacture and Assembly - DFMA).
? Develop thorough Bills of Materials, spare parts lists, and machine tagging details.
? Prepare layout drawings, tooling schematics, and pneumatic/hydraulic plans for customer approval.
? Work collaboratively with the electrical engineering team to ensure integrated mechanical-electrical system functionality.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; Master?s degree preferred.
? At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in machine design.
? Proficient in Autodesk Inventor.
? Demonstrated ability in design, analysis, and problem-solving.
? Skilled at interpreting complex technical requirements and implementing solutions.
? Strong communication skills, essential for effective customer interactions.
? Team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary groups.
