Shopify Developer/Graphic designer

Job Summary: MIAMI FL ONLY We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with Shopify platform experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, be proficient in various design software, and have experience working with Shopify. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing graphics that align with our brand identity and enhance user experience. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality designs for digital platforms, marketing materials, and other visual communications. Responsibilities: ? Develop engaging graphics for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns, with a focus on Shopify-based platforms. ? Collaborate with product managers and developers to create user-friendly interfaces (UX) for Shopify stores. ? Utilize design software to produce high-quality visuals that meet project specifications. ? Ensure consistency in branding across all design projects, particularly on Shopify. ? Work with APIs and integrate designs into web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET and PHP. ? Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing design input during each phase. ? Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work, especially for e-commerce and Shopify. ? Assist in the maintenance and updates of existing graphic content on platforms like Shopify and Drupal. Requirements: ? Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). ? Experience with Shopify platform, including theme customization and app integrations. ? Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, and PHP. ? Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating designs into applications. ? Knowledge of UX principles and best practices for user-centered design, particularly for e-commerce. ? Understanding of server environments such as Tomcat and cloud services like Azure. ? Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. ? A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work, including Shopify projects, is required for consideration. ? Experience with C# is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience with Shopify Liquid templating language. ? Knowledge of e-commerce design trends and best practices. ? Familiarity with SEO principles as they relate to design and user experience.
