Senior Manager - Compliance Assurance

Description: • DoorDash is hiring an experienced compliance leader to help build our compliance assurance function. • This role will establish the global legal compliance strategy in partnership with various teams. • You will translate regulatory requirements and legal guidance into controls and mature the organization’s overall compliance strategy. • Lead end-to-end improvements and automation in compliance workflows and reporting pipelines. • Drive cross-functional alignment and deliver granular compliance insights. • Looking for someone with strong work ethic, analytical and communication skills. • Ideal candidate is creative, self-starter, and has strong project management skills. Requirements: • 8+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field. • Proven track record of managing compliance programs in a fast-paced environment, preferably in technology or finance sectors. • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, standards, and best practices. • Experience working cross-functionally to align on compliance standards and reporting processes. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey regulatory complexities to various technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess compliance issues and propose practical solutions. • Demonstrated ability to mentor experienced reports and drive results through collaboration. • Certifications such as the CIA, CISA, and CRISC or accreditation by industry bodies such as ACAMS in risk management or financial compliance, are preferred but not required.
