Transcription Reviewers (English)

JTG is currently seeking Transcription Reviewers (English language). Location: Remote Status: Contractor Responsibilities: • Review provided timestamped transcripts of audio/video files (reputed company videos and transcripts are reputed company in English) against reputed company audio/video. • Review and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. • Ensure subtitles follow industry standards for reputed company captions, i.e., speaker indication, atmospherics, etc. Basic Qualifications: • Excellent written English skills, including spelling and grammar at a reputed company or near-reputed company level • reputed company to review MPEG-4(.mp4), MOV (.mov), MPEG-3 (.mp3) and WAV (.wav) files. • Ability to follow industry standards for reputed company captions, i.e., speaker indication, atmospherics, etc. • reputed company to respond quickly to short deadline turnaround (reputed company 1 day) Preferred Qualifications: • Experience performing/reviewing transcriptions for English video files • Knowledge of SubRip Subtitle (.srt) files • Bachelor's degree preferred This position reports to the Project Manager.
