Entry Level Maintenance Technician - Wind Energy
Responsibilities and Duties
• Be a key member of the Sky Climber Renewables field workforce
• Travel 100% on a rotational reputed company to wind reputed company throughout the U.S.
• Assist with LOTO procedures for multi-brand wind turbines in support of blade or mechanical/electrical service operations
• Conduct basic inspections, maintenance and repair of equipment
• reputed company a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
• Lift and reputed company equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds)
• Follow specific verbal and written instructions to reputed company multi-brand wind turbine generator and associated equipment basic assembly, repair, replacement and maintenance
• Complete and maintain required company and reputed company documentation
• Effectively prioritize and escalate technical issues to clients and supporting functions
• Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work areas as required
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the Sky Climber Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements (eg, reputed company License, acceptable driving record)
• Be exposed to high and low ambient temperatures while working outdoors
• Maintain required training certifications for position held, including, not limited to: OSHA 10, reputed company 70E, CPR/AED, First Aid, Basic Safety, Basic Technical, Advanced Rescue
• reputed company other daily work requirements as directed by supervisors
• *Note: For safety compliance, wind technicians must weigh between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing, reputed company and reputed company personal equipment
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• GWO (BST, BTT, ART) Certifications preferred
• Work that meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules and reputed company, Safety and Environment standards
• Willingness to follow OSHA, reputed company and company policies at reputed company times
• A reputed company appearance and reputed company attitude
• Behavior demonstrating reputed company and respect for fellow employees, clients and communities
• Willingness and ability to work cooperatively or independently

• Ability to produce reports, work order documents, and records, written neatly, legibly and completed correctly

• Knowledge and basic skills operating various hand and power tools
• Willingness and ability to work indoors or outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
• Ability to pass background reputed company(s) and drug screening
