Flatbed drivers at the company earn an average minimum pay of $1,450 per week, with the possibility for more Job Description As a driver who is home weekly, your role will involve regional operations and the transportation of 48 ft. flatbed trailers. Salary and incentive prospects Average Miles Covering a distance of 2,000-2,200 miles every week Pay Increases There will be an initial payment of one cent after 90 days, followed by an annual increase of one cent on each anniversary date until reaching a maximum of 70 cents per thousand impressions Monthly Bonus (Performance-Based) Earn up to five cents per thousand impressions each month Per Diem The payment rate for drivers is set at 10 cents per mile, which is inclusive of all expenses Military Pay Individuals operating vehicles who are presently active or have been in service in the last two years Less than two years of confirmed service equals a one-cent increase in pay per thousand views Having a verified tenure of more than two years results in a pay raise of 2 cents per thousand views Tarp/Securement Pay $50 Total • $25 to tarp/secure • $25 to untarp/unsecure Stop Pay The cost for each pickup and drop-off is $15, excluding the initial collection point and ultimate destination Detention Pay $20 per hour for being late in delivering the item, with a maximum penalty of $200 within a 24-hour period Layover Pay During a layover lasting one day, the fee is $75, while for each additional day after that, the charge increases to $100. The cost for a 24-hour stopover is set at $75, and any further periods of the same duration are billed at $100 each. The fee for a layover period of 24 hours is $75, with subsequent 24-hour intervals incurring a charge of $100. The price for a layover lasting one day totals $75, with each successive 24-hour block incurring a fee of $100. Each day during the layover is priced at $75, and any additional 24-hour span is charged at $100. Alternatively, they could opt to undergo a new physical either before the Orientation session in Fort Dodge, IA or during the program. Drug Test All candidates must undergo a pre-employment drug screening involving both urinalysis and hair follicle testing before attending the Orientation. If unable to do so beforehand, the tests will be carried out on the initial day of the Orientation program. Drivers will not be permitted to access their trucks until their test results demonstrate a negative outcome. Students The training regimen spans over a period of 4 weeks: 1 week in Orientation and another 3 weeks training with an OTR trainer During the orientation period and while under the guidance of a trainer, a daily rate of $100 is provided The company offers tuition reimbursement of up to $6,000. The pay range is between 0.53-0.70 per mile. Employees have access to modern equipment such as 2020 and newer Peterbilt 579 and Freightliner Cascadias, which come equipped with various amenities including APU's, refrigerators, CB Radio, internet, 1,800-watt inverter, Smart TV with Satellite programming, and Satellite Radio Hook-Ups. The trucks are governed at 65 mph on the pedal and 68 mph on cruise control.
