CASHIER/RECEPTION

A prestigious Automotive Dealership NISSAN OF STATEN ISLAND is looking to add FULL TIME Receptionist / CASHIER to their fast paced growing team!! The Greeter/Receptionist is responsible for meeting and greeting customers as they enter the dealership. • Present a professional appearance and a cordial, businesslike presence, positive first impression of the dealership. • The Greeter/Receptionist projects this same presence on the phone when customers call the dealership. • We offer continued growth opportunities for employees that have talent, energy and ambition to succeed. • Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Meet and greet customers with courtesy and efficiency • Ability to make a friendly and appropriate appearance, as the initial contact with the dealership • Ability to engage customers, to find out their needs, and to appropriately route them within the dealership • Knowledge of appropriate telephone techniques and etiquette • Ability to answer customers' questions on the phone or to refer callers to the appropriate department • Knowledge of dealership organization in order to appropriately route callers or customers • Ability to write clearly and legibly, and to listen and record accurately • Ability to file paperwork according to dealership procedures We offer great benefits, pay, vacation/sick time, etc!We are an equal opportunity employer. Qualifications • Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal relations • Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers • Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing • Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise • Familiarity with POS systems and retail math • Organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently • Ability to work in a grocery store environment • Bilingual abilities are a plus • Supervisory experience is advantageous WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
