About the position We have an amazing opportunity in our Minneapolis office for a Senior Customer Business Manager. The Senior Customer Business Manager will oversee the end-to-end business management of our Yogurt businesses with Target. Responsibilities • Manage the performance and development of one direct report , • Grow Danone at Target across the yogurt portfolio , • Manage business forecast and pacing, working with Demand Planning, Finance and Customer collaboration to ensure proper forecasting and commentary to changes , • Lead Long Range Planning with the customer working cross functionally to strategize 1-3yr growth plans , • Play an integral role in working with Target and Danone cross-functional teams to build a sustainable growth plan through assortment development and promotional management , • Manage strategy, execution, and planning with Target, including planning in Target's systems , • Communicate in a timely fashion both written and verbally with customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring that both good news and bad news is shared with equal level of detail , • Maintain customer relationships at multiple levels while also building strong internal cross-functional relationships to achieve agreed upon distribution and sales goals , • Lead the annual negotiation process to build a Joint Business Plan with Target meeting both customer and internal needs , • Lead the negotiation process for all new assortment and promotional opportunities and engage appropriate support when help is needed , • Identify critical, high payoff strategies and prioritize efforts consistent with the organization's goals and long-term vision and build plans to execute opportunities , • Monitor performance (in-stock, shipments, pricing, promotional materials) and establish regular business reviews with the customer and internal stakeholders , • Ensure agreed upon sales volume and profit goals are achieved; make suggestions that enhance the organization's financial position; spending within guardrails , • Display vision and a keen sense of the future; seek new business distribution opportunities , • Proactively analyze potential problems to avoid emergency situations , • Lead business planning efforts through frequent connectivity and alignment with the Sales Planning team, ensuring trade and volume is properly planned for and secured , • Lead, Coach & Develop Sales Analyst , • Influence, motivate, and inspire team development through Danone's CODES and development conversations , • Other duties as necessary Requirements • 5+ years of CPG Customer Business Management experience or Headquarter Sales experience , • Category Management Background or Experience (preferred, not required) , • Your strengths include organization, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills , • You have a strong understanding of the P&L; Delivers JBP initiatives within budget requirements , • Sets SMART goals that are relevant to department and company strategies , • Bias for action to set and ensure SMART goals are achieved , • Ability to take ownership as well as delegate to team members , • Anticipates obstacles and develops scenario plan , • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Nice-to-haves undefined Benefits • Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug Coverage , • 401k Plan , • Wellness Program , • Life Insurance , • Tuition Reimbursement , • Flexible Time Off , • Paid Parental Bonding Leave Apply Job!
