- Collaborates with Infection Prevention staff, as well as hospital and clinic leadership to monitor, develop and implement quality assurance and performance improvement activities (audits) related to continuous readiness, quality, service and workflow.
- Maintains staff scheduling (timekeeping) to ensure operational support requirements are met for the OR and supported clinical areas
- Conducts performance appraisals with staff, providing professional improvement plans as deemed necessary
- Participates in the budgeting process as subject matter expert to support acquisition of capital equipment and operating expenses. Maintains operating expenses in line with budgeting guidelines and takes corrective action when necessary

- Associate Degree in Healthcare obtained within two years of employment. Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare preferred.
- Five years minimum in Sterile Processing with increasing responsibility. Prior management experience preferred.
- License/Certification: Maintains currency with four SPD certifications (CRCST, CHL, CIS, CER through IAHCSMM) or (CSPDT, CSPM, CSIS, CFER through CBSPD) within three years of employment.
