Learn more atWHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:Hybrid: This role will be a mix of in-office work at our corporate headquarters in Del Mar, CA and remote work. This position is expected to be in office 3 days per week but may vary depending on business demands.A DAY IN THE LIFE:The IT Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of the department’s purchasing and asset management. This includes procuring all computers, IT equipment, software, printers/toners, and any other technology related items. The IT Coordinator will be responsible for managing relationships with vendors and Value-added Resellers (VAR) to ensure items arrive on time, within budget, and that the items meet the demands of the business. The IT Coordinator will assist in some basic IT support to include imaging computers, deploying new hire equipment, and facilitating office moves and relocations. Responsibilities will also include supporting IT management with software licensing renewals, new purchases, and license assignment. The IT coordinator will assist with department communication to the company and department training initiatives.IT Coordinator II’s at Tandem are also responsible for:PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all activities in the IT procurement process.
- Review details of purchase requisitions, vendor quotes, and purchase orders to make sure they meet the requirements of the business and requesting business units.
- Builds relationships with IT vendors and VARs.
- Responsible for purchasing all computers, technology equipment, software, and other items as needed.
- Maintains all purchasing information, electronic files and records for compliance and analysis.
- Arranges all IT equipment maintenance, warranty repairs, and e-waste activities.
- Facilitates shipment of computers to/from remote employees.
- Maintains accurate records of IT equipment inventory; keeping storage areas neat and organized.
- Assigns software licenses as well as manages software renewals and upgrades.
- Manages corporate Verizon account and coordinates copier support with outside vendors.
- Manages corporate toner ordering for both onsite facilities and remote employees.
- Identifies potential savings opportunities with purchases and renewals.
- Tracks unused software licenses and monitors that software stays in compliance with what’s been purchased.
- May assist in the scheduling and coordinating of department meetings and trainings.
- Provides general administrative support to members of the department’s management team.
- Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
- Performs other assignments or projects as directed.
- Excellent customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to seamlessly prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail oriented with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and software licensing agreements.
- Ability to present ideas and solutions to technical problems to both technical and non-technical employees
- High School Diploma
- 3 years’ experience in an admin support role, purchasing role, or equivalent.
- Experience in an IT organization is preferred but not required
