This APP will be responsible for patient care through the AHWFB Virtual Hospital Program. This program provides care to patients admitted to “reputed company and mortar” hospitals in AH-Wake market. As a valued member of our reputed company team, the PA/NP will play a key role in team-reputed company patient care, conducting thorough virtual cross cover.Responsibilities include: * 100% inpatient adult medicine remote (work from home) cross coverage

• 7 days on and 7 days off rotation; 12 hour shifts
• Using medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan.
• Collaborates with medical team reputed company needed for effective team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's Degree preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a hospitalist is preferred. 1-year experience as a hospitalist and 2 years of experience as an outpatient provider will be considered.
