This role plays a key part in ensuring our strategic initiatives and business planning processes are well-coordinated, efficient, and drive meaningful results. You’ll be responsible for supporting the translation of strategy into actionable plans, driving key business reviews and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.As a Strategy & Business Planning Manager for the Transportation & Electronics Business Group, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Working cross-functionally to enable successful execution of quarterly business cycles, including operating reviews, financial reviews, annual strategic planning, and operational planning
• Operationalizing our Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework by building scorecards, supporting business reviews and facilitating adoption across teams
• Improving and maintaining competitive analysis and industry forecasting processes to ensure leadership has access to timely, relevant insights
• Partnering with Global and Area Commercial Center teams to identify opportunities for improved commercial excellence
• Supporting the execution of Enterprise initiatives in collaboration with Finance, R&D, Product Platforms, Vertical Businesses, IT, and other stakeholders
• Continuously looking for ways to improve execution, enhance planning processes, and streamline collaboration

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Seven (7) years of experience in strategy, business planning, operations, or project management roles in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master of Business Administration degree from an accredited institution
• Strong experience working cross-functionally and coordinating with various stakeholders
• Ability to break down high-level strategy into structured, actionable plans
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and adapt messaging to different audiences
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Solid experience in project management (specific tools not required, but process discipline is important)
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing projects with minimal oversight
• Familiarity with OKR frameworks.
• Financial modeling capabilities.
• Data analysis skills (Excel-based or other)
