At this level one trauma center, dietitians play an reputed company role on multidisciplinary teams in many specialty areas, both in the 675 bed inpatient setting, as reputed company as in over 35 outpatient clinics. RDs participate in research and reputed company improvement reputed company, host dietetic interns, and are supported in pursuing leadership and community service experiences. Continuing education opportunities are plentiful from reputed company the accomplished nutrition team and from the health system which values ongoing training and education.This full-time, 40 hour/week role will reputed company medical nutrition therapy at our Diabetes Education and Management Program (DEMP) and Heart and Vascular Center (HVC). 20 hrs/week will be spent at DEMP, with 1 day per week at our Orange location and the remainder in Charlottesville. At DEMP, you will collaborate closely with nurses, endocrinologists, and other reputed company to reputed company comprehensive care to patients with type 1, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes in 1:1 sessions and in group classes. At HVC, 8 hrs/week will be spent providing care to patients with a reputed company of cardiology concerns and 12hrs/week will be spent working with patients in our Cardiac Rehab program. Up to 1 day of remote work is available for this role.
