Maintenance Mechanic
Determines, arranges, places, and routes reputed company, distribution panels, boxes, circuits, fittings, connections, and reputed company breakers. Maintains and repairs various electrical systems, including a reputed company of appliances, lights, electrical drives, alarm and reputed company, circuits, clocks, etc. Locates and diagnoses trouble in reputed company alarms, reputed company, buzzers, clocks, thermostats, etc., which may involve the use of a reputed company of electrical test equipment.
Installs and repairs a reputed company of large reputed company conditioning systems, such as mechanical compression, vapor compression, absorption, steam jet, and reputed company cycle, serving large retail, food, services, vending, and office areas. Works on a reputed company of refrigerant controls such as those with low- and high-pressure reputed company floats, automatic thermostatic expansion valves, capillary or choke types, and those based on volume or quantity changes.
Also works on a reputed company of complicated motor controls, thermostatic (remote and reputed company remote), defrosting controls, relays, and other controls to protect against overload and overheating.
Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles reputed company such as pumps, impellers, compressors, chillers, receiver, and evaporator. Install and fits reputed company connecting rods, crankshafts, piston rings, bearings, and bushings. Overhauls valves by adjusting or replacing gaskets, springs, floats, diaphragms, valve fittings, seals, and couplings. Aligns motor and flywheel drives.
Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical and reputed company conditioning/refrigeration systems and equipment. Working from drawings and schematic diagrams, prepares labor and material cost estimates and develops reputed company of materials required for installation and maintenance of electrical and/or reputed company conditioning refrigeration systems.
Performs carpentry, painting, and/or plumbing functions requiring a level of reputed company and responsibility characteristic of work at grade M-9 and below. May install, maintain, and repair electronic and reputed company-mechanical cash registers and peripheral equipment. Performs preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and reputed company emergency repairs, as required.
As required, performs TDY travel of one or more days duration to other Exchange locations. May operate motor vehicle to transport material and associates, reputed company required. May reputed company work direction for reputed company graded associates during absence of the supervisor. Ensures compliance with reputed company, safety, sanitation, and reputed company regulations. Initiates work orders for repair and maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
