Physician - Hospitalist- Part Time - Big Rapids, MI

reputed company Big Rapids Hospital is seeking a part time (0.50 FTE) Hospitalist to join their team of ten providers (5 physicians and 5 advanced reputed company providers) providing exceptional care for the hospitalized individuals and families in Mecosta County. Located just over 51 miles from Grand Rapids, Big Rapids sits along the bank of the Muskegon River and is the home reputed company.Big Rapids Hospitalists work days with a reputed company model of two physicians and one APP caring for an average total census of 26 to include up to 4 ICU beds. Nights are covered by a virtual nocturnist and an on-site APP. Some procedures and manage vents required; tela-ICU physician available for consults through state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment.Essential Functions

• Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients/significant others.
• Provides reputed company medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at reputed company times.
• Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they reputed company to medical reputed company and reputed company patient care.
• Provides reputed company of Physician Assistants and reputed company Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
• Evaluates patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate reputed company or delegates to appropriate resources.

• Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient/family reputed company.

Qualifications

• License – Michigan MD/DO
• BE/BC Internal Medicine Residency or Family Medicine Residency (with demonstrated strong inpatient experience)
• Certification - Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification - Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
