About the position We are seeking a part-time remote veterinarian to provide telemedicine services, focusing initially on behavioral health and dermatology for domestic animals, with potential expansion into nutrition and chronic conditions. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care and requires adherence to telemedicine standards, including informed consent and medical record keeping. Responsibilities • Provide telemedicine consultations for patients focusing on behavioral health and dermatology. , • Evaluate each patient's medical data and history to determine appropriate treatment. , • Communicate with clients via a secure portal to establish the veterinarian-client-patient relationship. , • Issue prescriptions when medically appropriate based on evaluations and client discussions. , • Maintain high standards of quality care and adhere to telemedicine practice standards. Requirements • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. , • Licensed veterinarian in good standing in at least one specified state. , • At least 3 years of post-graduate work experience as a licensed veterinarian. , • Strong medical writing skills and excellent grammar. , • Ability to discuss and treat behavioral health issues. , • Attention to detail and ethical practice.
