Lockheed Martin is looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to support the Mk7 Program Management Organization (PMO) in planning and execution of PMO work scope and program execution. In This Role, You Will: • Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility • Organize activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering and design test problems • Collaborate with the FBM Reentry W93/Mk7 program for improvements and initiative by applying engineering or technical background to shape process innovations using engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications • Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders Desired Skills • Ability to compile, prepare, and present information to management and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines • Ability to foster positive working relationships and make sound risk based decisions • Experience in project management including but not limited to budget planning, cost analysis, schedule development, and risk and opportunity management • Understanding of engineering principles and processes especially with FBM Reentry products and processes • Understanding of design changes, specification and drawing releases processes • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail, quality, and whole system thinking • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment • Demonstrated ability to take a project from conceptualization and organize, plan and manage it to successful completion • Active Security Clearance You can learn more about Lockheed Martin’s competitive and comprehensive benefits package by visiting this link.
