United Healthcare Community & State is looking to hire three Sr. Director, Medicaid Clinical Program Development and... Operations (West Region, Central Region, and East Region). Each position will report to the VP, Medicaid Clinical Strategy, Program Development and Operations. Each position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US, with the ability to travel up to 25% to support our regional health plans. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. Skills  7+ years of experience in Medicaid  7+ years in designing and implementing clinical/quality programs in a Medicaid health plan environment  5+ years leading and/or managing people  5+ years in a matrix organization  3+ years of clinical management experience within a managed care environment  Expert negotiation and problem-solving skills  Ability to lead change and innovation  Strong communicator with excellent presentation skills Responsibilities  Own the end-to-end development of clinical strategy and programs  Partner with Regional CEOs and market leaders to manage clinical programs  Drive clinical program implementation within a population health framework  Customize national clinical programs for specific markets  Lead a team managing program portfolios to enhance performance  Oversee large-scale initiatives for Medicaid populations  Collaborate with key stakeholders to obtain input for new clinical programs Qualifications  Demonstrated successful leadership skills in program execution and people management  Expert at strategic conceptualization within a national organization  Proven experience in scoping projects and developing schedules  Solid communicator and effective negotiator  Proven cross-functional influence and relationship-building skills Education Requirements  RN, LCSW, or LPN/LVN license preferred  Relevant degree in a related field preferred but not required Education Requirements Credential Category  Medical or Healthcare-related credentials preferred Experience Requirements  7+ years of experience in Medicaid and clinical program implementation  5+ years of experience in people management and working in a matrix organization  Solid knowledge of NCQA, CMS, or state guidelines Why work in Minnetonka, MN Minnetonka offers a vibrant community with access to nature, recreational activities, and cultural experiences.
