Full Stack Developer PlayFab/Azure Expertise (Work From Home) Location: [Remote] Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Katheed is an innovative gaming company focused on building immersive online experiences. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with experience in PlayFab and Microsoft Azure to join our team. You will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, scalable game services and web applications. Job Summary: As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing both the front-end and back-end components of our game services, including integrating and managing cloud infrastructure using PlayFab and Azure. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable server-side logic, APIs, and data models, while also contributing to front-end features and ensuring smooth player experiences. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain both server-side and client-side applications, focusing on scalability and... performance. • Design and build RESTful APIs to interact with game clients and third-party systems. • Integrate and manage PlayFab services, including authentication, player data, matchmaking, leaderboards, virtual currency, and cloud scripts. • Utilize Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure App Services, and Azure Storage for cloud-based game infrastructure. • Implement cloud-based solutions to ensure seamless multiplayer functionality, scalable game servers, and real-time player data management. • Collaborate with game designers, product managers, and other engineers to create high-quality game features. • Optimize front-end performance and user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js). • Develop secure, responsive web applications for in-game stores, dashboards, and player portals. • Monitor, debug, and optimize server performance, ensuring reliability and security of backend services. • Work closely with QA teams to identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end systems. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to cloud infrastructure and full stack development. Required Skills and Experience: • 1+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer. • Proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js). • Strong experience with cloud services, particularly PlayFab and Microsoft Azure. • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure App Services, and Azure Storage. • Proficiency in RESTful API development and cloud-based back-end development. • Knowledge of database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases). • Experience with PlayFab features such as player authentication, leaderboards, matchmaking, virtual currency, and player data storage. • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies. • Strong understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. • Familiarity with cloud-based game hosting and multiplayer networking technologies. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. • Knowledge of real-time data processing using tools like SignalR, WebSockets, or Azure Event Hubs. • Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine and integrating back-end services with game engines.
