We do allow you to set your own working hours, but it is expected you are available during normal business hours for team and client meetings to be scheduled. Position Details You will provide comprehensive monthly bookkeeping services to our virtual clients across various industries, including:  Processing bank feeds and reconciling accounts  Managing accounts payable (bill entry and payment)  Handling accounts receivable (invoicing and follow-up)  Job costing and project tracking  Processing payroll, including reporting and recording  Preparing and filing sales tax for multiple states  Creating journal entries with accurate and clear supporting documentation  Evaluating client data and collaborating with the management team to improve processes  Reviewing taxes and tax schedules, ensuring they match QuickBooks records  Managing direct relationships with customers and clients  Documenting communications and task statuses across multiple software platforms promptly  Syncing data across multiple software applications to maintain accuracy  Building and maintaining client connections through outreach via telephone, text, video conference, and email  Performing peer-review quality assurance checks and communicating necessary corrections with co-workers You MUST have extensive knowledge and proficiency in all these tasks. Expertise with QuickBooks Online is required, and certification in QuickBooks Online is preferred. ABSOLUTE must Haves  4+ years of solid experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, juggling multiple clients at once  Ability to read and understand Schedule C and Form 1120  True expertise with QuickBooks Online (QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification alone doesn't cut it)  Strong understanding and ability to break down balance sheets and profit & loss statements  Great at working with others and being a team player  Ability to stay focused and meet deadlines while working remotely  Super organized and confident in making decisions  Quick learner who's open to new ideas  Clear, friendly communication skills across all platforms: video conference, email, phone, and text Remote Requirements:  Physically located in the US  Quiet/dedicated space in the home for an office  Telephone  Your own working computer that complies with industry standards, high-speed internet, and dual monitors  A webcam and audio for clear communication. Zoom meetings, including screen share, will be required  You must be able to sit (or use a standing workstation) and work at a computer for 8 hours a day (flexible hours) and sometimes longer as may be required.
