Train team members on technical processes in order to perform timely repairs and high quality Preventive Maintenance (P.Mâ¬Äºs). Ensure that the equipment operates up to its original performance and quality specifications. What your day will look like: â¬Ä½ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable laws â¬Ä½ Interview, hire, and train associates â¬Ä½ Plan, assign, and direct work â¬Ä½ Appraise performance â¬Ä½ Address complaints and resolve problems â¬Ä½ Builds positive associate morale â¬Ä½ Develop and implement scheduled Preventive Maintenance (P.Mâ¬Äºs) â¬Ä½ Develop work schedules of the mechanics â¬Ä½ Direct mechanics in performing proper and correct repairs â¬Ä½ Enforce parts room procedures to help ensure that proper parts are available when needed â¬Ä½ Enforce all safety policies of the Department â¬Ä½ Promote Food Safety in all areas of Maintenance â¬Ä½ Directly supervises Maintenance employees â¬Ä½ Effective use of all maintenance operating systems up to and including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Production Line Monitoring System (PLMS) â¬Ä½ Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management What you need to succeed: â¬Ä½ Minimum age 18 years old â¬Ä½ Valid driverâ¬Äºs license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy â¬Ä½ Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies â¬Ä½ Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job â¬Ä½ Ability to read, write and speak English â¬Ä½ Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines â¬Ä½ Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets â¬Ä½ Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology â¬Ä½ Strong leadership and organizational skills â¬Ä½ Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates â¬Ä½ Associate degree (A.
