Senior Test Engineer

This position involves working as a Senior Test Engineer for our R&D team in Chennai, India, focusing on Analytics and Data Management software.

• Execute test plans and strategies for HBK software, focusing on the development and execution of test scripts for Automated / Interactive testing of product(s).
• Contribute with other team members to ensure reputed company software errors are identified and reported.
• Assist with reputed company and reproduction of user software problems.
• Contribute to the development of the software by collaborating with software testers and developers based in Europe.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years’ experience in similar previous roles.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Knowledge of testing processes, tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge / experience of Agile Software Development & Testing.
• Programming experience (C#, JavaScript or similar).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience on API Testing using REST API.
• Knowledge and experience of reputed company Integration (CI) and reputed company Delivery (CD) using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge on UX testing.
• Knowledge and experience working on Jira would be an advantage.
• Knowledge on reputed company & Vibration Engineering would be an advantage.
• Candidates who also hold Agile or ISTQB Software Test certification would be an advantage.
