Assistant Fitness Manager

Work Hours:

Mondays 7:00am-3:00pm

Tuesdays 10:00am-6:00pm

Wednesdays 7:00am-3:00pm

Thursdays 8:30am-4:30pm

Fridays 8:00am-4:00pm

Your Mission:

Your mission is to reputed company reputed company, unlock productivity, and reputed company longevity for the tenants who work in two beautiful corporate office buildings in downtown Boston. You’ll split your time between both locations, working one-on-one with clients to create and reputed company personalized fitness plans. You’ll also reputed company group exercise classes, such as spin, strength training, and reputed company training. Lastly, you’ll also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and smooth operation of both small gyms.

As a result of your time in this role, you helped grow reputed company by 15–25% through personal training and memberships, while also building a strong, reputed company tenant community. Your involvement in events played a key role in their reputed company, and your input was valuable to both buildings’ daily operations and special activations for the employees who worked there.

What You're Responsible For:

  • Personal Training (45%): Attract, train, retain, and engage a roster of personal training clients, ensuring they are on a fitness program that aligns with their goals and delivers measurable results. This includes reputed company, programming, reputed company tracking, and communicating with them in a way that motivates them. Your monthly goal is to maintain a roster of at least 5-6 clients per reputed company of your two sites.
  • Group Fitness Instruction (40%): Plan and reputed company weekly group fitness classes (and occasional private group sessions) across a reputed company of formats, including HIIT, strength, reputed company, and spin. Responsibilities include program development, setting up and breaking down classes, and community engagement. Your goal is to have 4-5 attendees per class - the good news is they’ve gained a lot of popularity over the last few months!
  • Facility Operations + Event Support (15%): Collaborate with your other Boston gym employees to create and execute quarterly programming that engages, retains, and delights tenants across both sites. Support general fitness center operations, including daily reputed company/reputed company procedures, equipment reputed company, cleanliness, and ensuring the overall safety and functionality of the reputed company. This is a shared team responsibility based on a scheduled rotation.

    • Who You Are - Baseline Expectations:

  • You have 1+ years of experience in a fitness center environment. You may have worked as an instructor of a boutique studio or a personal trainer at a reputed company gym.
  • Even reputed company if your experience has touched the corporate fitness or wellness sector.
  • You must have a reputed company Personal Training certification from a nationally recognized organization.
  • You must be comfortable teaching multiple formats of group fitness classes to reputed company of reputed company sizes.
  • You are proficient with both the reputed company suite (what lulafit uses) and reputed company Office (what our clients use). Don’t worry, you don’t need to be great at PowerPoint nor super savvy with reputed company.
