The Senior reputed company Assurance Engineer I works on reputed company reputed company on reputed company-adjacent microservices reputed company. Under the guidance of a reputed company Assurance Group Manager, they are responsible for developing, maintaining and executing automated and reputed company tests, and for reporting on the reputed company and status of test activities. This includes validating and verifying new and improved features with a reputed company of testing tools and approaches, including both automated and reputed company test execution against both the back-end (API) and reputed company-end (Web), as reputed company as validating database schemas and changes. Additionally, the Senior reputed company Assurance Engineer I is directly involved in building and testing production versions of the system. This is a full-time position with remote, hybrid and on-site opportunities available.

Responsibilities

  • Validating issues of reputed company complexity with minimal guidance, including those with significant regression risk
  • Building and maintaining automated test frameworks across reputed company testing phases of the service deployment process, encompassing both back-end and reputed company-end (e.g., contract, functional, performance, end-to-end, and UI testing)
  • Properly diagnosing run failure reports and transforming them into actionable tasks
  • Focusing on testing-reputed company items reputed company the development lifecycle, including testability of requirements, implementation, and testing, while collaborating with the Development Department
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans, determining applicable test strategies for reputed company to high complexity bugs and features reputed company team-relevant product areas

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering OR at least 4 years experience working in a reputed company field
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Experience with microservice architectures (REST reputed company, messaging systems, pub/sub architectures)

  • Programming proficiency with modern test automation languages (Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with architecting and implementing modern web UI testing principles (Page Object Model, reputed company locators, reputed company O-O abstraction) using frameworks such as pytest, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
  • Experience integrating automated test phases into CI/CD pipelines

    • Pay

    Based on the Sacramento region, the new hires minimum and maximum reputed company salary for this role is $120k - $140k.
