Description: • Power BI Report Developer / SharePoint Developer will play a crucial role in expanding the analytic capabilities of customer’s analytics platform through data analysis, reporting, and visualization • Performs modifications to, and maintenance of, existing programs and procedures • Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support Department of Veterans Affairs' analytics and decision-making needs • Translate complex data sets into comprehensive and impactful visual stories that resonate with stakeholders • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy and decision-making • Utilize SQL and other relevant technologies to extract, transform, and load data for reporting purposes • Develop and maintain ETL processes • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues to ensure reliability • Work closely with Senior Team Members to develop data solutions • Collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy • Stay current with advancements in data analytics, BI tools, and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Apps, and DAX for report development • Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation • Competency working in SharePoint for report development • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights • Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes • Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical stakeholders • Knowledge of data visualization best practices • Experience in developing data-driven solutions and process automation • Knowledge and practical work experience in data science and analytics • Ability to develop good working relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills • Ability to schedule, organize, and facilitate executive-level virtual meetings • Ability to self-organize, balance workload, complete tasks on time • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Prior experience with VA / US Government Agencies • Ability to adapt well to a changing and dynamic client environment • Ability to work nights and weekends (on occasion if needed) Benefits: • paid leave • options for employer sponsored group medical • dental • vision • short-term and long-term disability • life insurance • AD&D coverage • legal services • identity theft • accident insurance • flexible spending account • health saving account options • 401(k) retirement plan with immediate employer contribution match • professional courses • certifications • tuition reimbursement programs Apply Job!
