Quality Assurance Associate, Underwriting
Description:
• Contract Review : Review contracts for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Decision Making: Make informed decisions regarding the acceptance, modification, or rejection of contract based on underwriting guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work with agents and other internal departments to gather necessary information and ensure accurate processing of the contracts.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions, including reasons for rejections or exceptions and prepare reports summarizing your books of business.
Requirements:
• College Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• 2+ year's experience within accounting, quality assurance, insurance or underwriting
• Service Contract or Automotive Warranty Administrator experience is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate at a business level.
• Strong work ethic, time management and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, able to catch and identify discrepancies.
• Proactive problem solver able to provide input and think critically through solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S or Canada
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
