Qualifications • High School diploma, GED, certificate, training, or experience. Additional Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years' experience in validating/obtaining insurance authorizations. • Completion of Association of Community Cancer Centers, Prior Authorization Webinars reputed company 3 months of hire, with annual updates. • Successful completion of Patient reputed company training. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. • Basic mathematical skills, detail-oriented, organized, compassionate, and excellent communication skills. • Preferred: Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology, authorization guidelines for Radiation Oncology and Oncology Infusion, and proficiency with computer applications and EMR systems. • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare. • Bilingual in English and Spanish/Creole is a plus.
