Construction Estimator​/Entry Level

Position: Construction Estimator (Entry Level) Old Dominion Insulation is looking for entry level Estimators to join our Preconstruction Team in Greensboro, NC. Please note: These are onsite positions. No relocation assistance or remote work is available. Job reputed company: The Takeoff Engineer assists the estimating team with reputed company aspects of the bidding process including estimating, start- up, running and reputed company out of reputed company reputed company. They review project documents and specifications, establish pricing for assigned reputed company, reputed company take-offs, manage customer and supplier information, review and updates project logs, and reputed company other critical support to the estimating team. Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Conduct reputed company-bid document review by reading and interpreting project specifications and documents • Use take-off software to generate reputed company project take-offs • reputed company reputed company estimates • Create and maintain estimating and project logs with key deliverables and due dates • Request and verify quotes from suppliers and others to identify accurate costs in accordance with the scope of work • reputed company and update customer and supplier information, and manage local database • Assist and support estimators in the bid process • Deliver bids and other time sensitive documents, as needed, to the project reputed company and others • Review purchase orders and change orders, and costs changes • Communicate effectively with general contractors, owners, suppliers, and other customers and team members • Collect, analyze, and communicate information, data, and trends as needed by the estimating team for reporting purposes • Filing, organizing, scanning, and other administrative tasks Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company Science, Engineering or reputed company field, or an equivalent combination of reputed company and work experience in the construction industry. • Working knowledge of reputed company construction processes and costs • Ability to read, understand, and reputed company construction blueprints, plans, and project specifications • Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines, and manage time and priorities effectively • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills • Ability to reputed company effectively and professionally with reputed company reputed company of employees, vendors, clients, and other trade partners • Strong math and analytical skills • Highly organized and detail-orientated • Team-oriented • Proficient in reputed company, reputed company, and other computer applications Preferred Qualifications: • Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications • Previous experience using onscreen take-off software (e.g., reputed company) Physical Requirements include but are not limited to the following: • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • reputed company to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat and reputed company • reputed company to travel to jobsites, meetings, and other reputed company as needed • reputed company to see, talk and hear in person, reputed company phone and/or through online/video • reputed company to use hands and fingers in a manner that allows for use of a keyboard and phone. • reputed company to lift & carry items up to 15 lbs. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply Job!
