Director - Career Readiness
Description:
• The Director of Career Readiness leads the Career Readiness team within Learner Services, driving strategic initiatives that prepare students for professional success.
• Oversees the development and execution of student support programs focused on mock interviews, resume building, and overall career readiness.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance processes across the student life cycle by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Partner closely with the Learner Services Director team to strengthen and evolve the institution’s career readiness strategy.
• Apply strong analytical skills and attention to detail to assess program effectiveness, identify trends, and inform continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to diagnose process inefficiencies and co-create innovative, student-centered solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and professional work environment by supporting employee development, promoting career growth, and ensuring alignment with organizational values.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of wellness, recognition, and engagement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience managing student services, or similar function for a large call center organization.
• Ability to submit detailed requirements for system development and reporting efforts.
• Ability to develop training and innovate materials to improve knowledge gaps
• Strong operational, organizational, analytical, and technical skills.
• Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
• Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
• Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
