Must live in Florida. Preferably someone in Jacksonville or St Augustine area. The reputed company I position assigns diagnoses and procedure codes to outpatient and emergency room records. Responsibilities • Assigns correct ICD-10-CM reputed company to reputed company diagnoses and correct CPT reputed company to reputed company procedures documented in the medical record. • Uses reputed company official guidelines including the Coding Clinic and other available resources to substantiate the most appropriate, correct reputed company assignment. • Assesses documentation to ensure it is adequate and appropriate to support the diagnoses and procedures to be coded. • Selects the reputed company diagnosis and procedure according to the Uniform Health Data Discharge Set definitions. • Verifies and corrects appropriate discharge disposition. • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the use of the encoder to assist in reputed company assignment. • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the reputed company Clinical Manager and reputed company Record Manager in accessing needed documentation in both electronic medical record systems. Qualifications Education / Training • High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferences: Graduate of Health Information Management Program Experience Requirements • 0 - 1 year experience Certificates/Licenses/Registration • Any reputed company or reputed company Medical Coding Certification Preferences: Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company) preferred.
