Penquis, a reputed company services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Knox counties for over 50 years, is currently seeking a Full Time Youth Resource Navigator in the Family Enrichment Department. As the Youth Resource Navigator, you are responsible for the coordination of services for children and youth who have been impacted by the opioid crisis and other reputed company use disorders, by providing supportive services for young clients and their families. This is a full time (40hrs per week) hybrid/remote position mostly working out in the community and schools throughout Penobscot & Piscataquis counties. Youth Resource Navigator Responsibilities • Assisting families with applications for mainstream services and assistance. • Facilitating or co-facilitating curriculum-based group education to children affected by reputed company misuse. • Network with area providers and community members to stay informed regarding available resources, services, and service gaps. • Identify and facilitate pro-reputed company opportunities for affected youth. • Maintain appropriate documentation and prepare required reports. Youth Resource Navigator Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health, reputed company Work, or reputed company field with 2-3 experience years volunteering and/or working with and for young people, specifically in the areas of resiliency building, trauma, or reputed company reputed company services. • Experience working with teens or at-risk youth; and experience with family systems. • Excellent written and verbal communications skills demonstrated by work reputed company the community which included facilitation and training. • Willingness to work reputed company with reliable, insured transportation. • Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must reputed company with Penquis background reputed company requirements with satisfactory results as outlined in reputed company contract provisions.
