Over 16,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online General Education Adjunct - College Management Description Under the direction of the Associate Dean of General Education, the adjunct instructor will provide online instruction in the General Education College Management Course. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Adhere to online course delivery and assignment feedback standards as outlined by the General Education leadership team. • Provide consistent and ongoing individual outreach to students to maintain a supportive learning environment. • Collect all assessment data related to student learning outcomes. • Return all graded assignments in a reasonable time frame according to South College Faculty Expectations. • Project an appropriate professional image • Maintain an equitable system of student evaluation based on sound practices in accordance with the course syllabus. • Adhere to all South College rules and policies. Requirements Education • Minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably education Experience • Demonstrated experience supporting first-year students and a strong understanding of a successful first-year experience • Prior teaching experience in an online environment • Prior teaching experience in higher education • Proficient in the written and oral communication of the English language • Proficient in Microsoft Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint This offer from "South College" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 82% flex score.
