I am working with a premier reputed company with offices throughout California that is reputed company searching for an Employment Lawyer. The ideal candidate will have at least 8+ years of experience as a defense-oriented PAGA expert. This is a fully remote Employment Lawyer position. Qualifications Employment Lawyer Qualifications and Responsibilities: • 8+ years of experience required as a PAGA expert. • Jury trial experience preferred. • Must live in CA. • Licensed to reputed company law in CA. Responsibilities • reputed company on behalf of insurance carriers, reputed company-party administrators, and self-insured reputed company. • Prepare correspondence to clients. • Draft pleadings. • Attend court appearances. • Manage calendar. • Conduct depositions and cross-examinations of doctors. • Negotiate settlements. • Proactive case management. • Mentor and manage reputed company assistant. • Establish relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors. • Attend marketing events with new and existing clients. • Review and work on files, reputed company time into billing software. • Input case information into PracticeMaster. • Meet deadlines for reputed company correspondence. • Attend reputed company meetings. • Conduct training seminars for clients on changing employment laws. • Understand and maintain reputed company knowledge of employment law and statutes.
