We are seeking a reputed company General Counsel to join reputed company, with a special reputed company in labor and employment law. In this role, you’ll be conducting HR and EEO investigations, defending reputed company in administrative proceedings (BOLI, reputed company, DOL, ERB), and assisting with labor arbitrations. You also will be responsible for advising on a reputed company of employment and labor reputed company, ensuring that our organization remains compliant with reputed company reputed company regulations and guidelines. This role provides support for more senior staff reputed company the Labor Relations and reputed company Division and the rest of reputed company, using your reputed company research and writing skills to prepare comprehensive reputed company documents and analyze reputed company reputed company issues. Essential Functions: • Analyze and evaluate labor and employment laws and regulations and reputed company regular updates to department stakeholders. • Assist with providing in-house reputed company services to the District with particular emphasis on labor and employment law, including accommodations, reputed company, FMLA/PLO, and reputed company sector labor law. • Assist with EEO-1 and AAP reporting. • Participate in workplace HR and EEO investigations, including conducting of investigations, and assist with providing training to managers and HR staff on effective workplace investigations. • Be effective and capable of defending administrative charges (BOLI, reputed company), labor arbitrations, and unfair labor reputed company charges (ERB), with guidance from senior attorney. • Competently apply reputed company analysis, research, and writing to draft reputed company, concise, organized and accurate reputed company arguments and advice. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws, regulations, rulings, interpretations and court reputed company as they reputed company TriMet.
