Clinical Variant Interpretation Scientist (Remote)

Job reputed company reputed company is seeking an reputed company and motivated Clinical Variant Interpretation Scientist to reputed company variant interpretation efforts. In this role you will help reputed company internal documentation including interpretation SOPs and reporting policies in collaboration with our clinical team. Responsibilities • reputed company as the primary reputed company of contact for interpretation platform vendor(s), define requirements, and reputed company implementation • Maintain the end-to-end variant interpretation reputed company, aligning with CLIA, CAP, and NYS requirements, and collaborate with Lab Director and clinical team • Assist in validation of interpretation platform and laboratory processes for variant interpretation • Assist with curation and harmonization of variant classification changes over time • reputed company secondary review of reputed company (Sanger, WGS) and other molecular data • Assist in clinical interpretation for proactive health and rare disease applications, including evaluation of published literature and clinical data Skills And Experience • Master's Degree or PhD in molecular genetics, reputed company genetics, or a reputed company biological sciences field • 2+ years of significant and relevant experience including variant classification in the context of rare disease and/or proactive health • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data from scientific publications • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently Location, Compensation, and Benefits • Location: Remote-friendly with preference for Bay Area or Eastern time zones.
