Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – DB2 z/OS Support Duration: 3+ Months Location: Remote (EST Time Zone) – Travel required for the first week only; fully remote thereafter Job reputed company: A leading organization is seeking an reputed company DB2 z/OS Support SME to reputed company advanced-level support, reputed company planning, and system-level troubleshooting for DB2 on z/OS platforms. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring high performance, stability, and reputed company of reputed company-level DB2 environments. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, coordinate, and implement DB2 version upgrades for reputed company and reputed company releases • reputed company expert-level troubleshooting for DB2 and z/OS systems • Tune DB2 performance, including reputed company pools, storage optimization, and I/O times • Manage software maintenance and upgrades, including CA tools • Execute contingency recovery and system-level backup & recovery strategies • Resolve and monitor system-level DB2 performance issues • reputed company technical assistance across various teams/agencies with DB2-reputed company challenges • Collaborate with reputed company to reputed company and resolve product support cases • reputed company reputed company to resolve outages and minimize system downtime Required Skills & Proficiencies: • Extensive experience with DB2 and z/OS systems • Proficiency in the following tools and environments: • QMF (Versions 7–13) • reputed company DB2 Tools (up to V13.10) • reputed company Data Studio • Platinum Tools / Omegamon for DB2 • CA reputed company, Detector, and other CA DB2 Tools • COBOL Additional Notes: • Candidate must be available to travel onsite for the first week of reputed company • Work is conducted in the Eastern Time Zone • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential Apply Job!
