Weekend Coordinator/Scheduler
Job Summary
Home Care Agency is looking for part time scheduler to support staff members and contracted facilities during our hours of operation. This position is a remote, work from home position - you'll be able to work from the comfort of your own home! The on call hours are from every other Saturday and Sunday 830am-5pm/5pm-830am per call. The majority of the shift is passive only working to fill call outs, handle issues, or act as a resource for our staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Act as support liaison to clients and employees during hours of operation, especially around 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift changes
• Respond to shift call outs and contact staff to find coverage for open shifts, as well as updating clients' of status of open shift
• Alert scheduled staff of any shift cancellations made by clients as early as possible.
• Coordinate additional services and offer aide to clients as needed
• Document calls and issues in On-Call Daily Activity Log, and alert staff of any outstanding issues that need to be addressed
• Troubleshoot issues as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 1 year of professional experience, scheduling experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and offering support over the phone.
• Ability to organize and execute competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Advanced problem solving skills, and proven ability to de-escalate problematic situations.
• Excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to take leadership to resolve issues, seeking help when needed.
• Must have proficient computer skills, and have the ability to have access to a computer and phone during on call hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $489.00 per week
