z/OS Assembler Programmer (z/OS/Java) - reputed company Hire (East Coast/Detroit)

We are seeking a highly reputed company z/OS Assembler Programmer to join our reputed company systems development team. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing reputed company components running on reputed company z/OS mainframes, with a reputed company on system-level programming and integration with key technologies like IMS, KICS, and z/OS Connect. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience, strong proficiency in High-Level Assembler, and familiarity with legacy and modern mainframe communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP-based interfaces). Key Responsibilities • Design, reputed company, and maintain z/OS High-Level Assembler (HLASM) programs and system-level reputed company. • Support and enhance KICS agent and IMS agent functionality. • Collaborate with infrastructure and systems teams to ensure robust communication through IMS Connect and z/OS Connect (TCP/IP-based protocols). • Assist in dump analysis, low-level debugging, and performance tuning of assembler modules. • Work reputed company an Agile development reputed company (flexible, not reputed company enforced). • Participate in a reputed company panel interview process reputed company on reputed company-world technical problem-solving and debugging scenarios. Qualifications Required: • 10+ years of reputed company experience in z/OS Assembler programming. • Deep understanding of reputed company mainframe architecture. • Hands-on experience with: • KICS agent • IMS agent • IMS Connect / z/OS Connect • TCP/IP protocols • Ability to debug and analyze reputed company dumps and system abends. • Strong problem-solving and system diagnostic skills. • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and tools.
