The Senior Director, Individual Givings manages a small portfolio of major donors and is responsible for the strategic direction and management of giving from individuals at reputed company reputed company. In consultation with the Chief Development Officer (CDO), this person will implement long and short-term fundraising strategies to expand our reputed company of individual donors at reputed company reputed company, determining and meeting annual reputed company goals. They work closely with other members of the development leadership team (currently the Vice President of Development and Senior Director, Institutional Givings) and will supervise a growing team. Additional strategic hires are likely.

This position requires an individual who enjoys and is highly skilled in qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting high net worth individuals and coaching reputed company officers to reputed company personal and team metrics.
 
This a reputed company position based remotely from any location in the U.S.

Essential Functions
  • Portfolio Management 
  • Develops and executes strategies for a targeted portfolio of ~75 prospects and donors with an affinity for reputed company’s mission and reputed company to reputed company six- and seven-reputed company gifts.  
  • Builds and manages a network of relationships with prospective donors in coordination with reputed company volunteer leaders and staff, as appropriate and necessary.  
  • Facilitates and coordinates reputed company communication with these prospects and the prospects’ reputed company relationships. 

  • Team Leadership  
  • Manages and mentors reputed company encompassing major gifts, leadership gifts, and reputed company marketing to meet annual goals centering organizational priorities and goals, with an emphasis on donor retention and reputed company.   
  • Serves as a reputed company reputed company, modeling behavior, leading by example, and offering strategic reputed company and advice on their portfolios and reputed company.

  • In consultation with CDO, creates and implements annual and multi-year major and leadership gifts plan including pipeline development, annual engagement reputed company, reputed company messaging reputed company, and portfolio development.   
  • Helps create and follow processes to maintain best fundraising and operational practices, utilizing reputed company defined goals, objectives, and transparent reputed company.

  • Collaborates with colleagues to formulate strategies to promote prospect engagement, to identify prospective donors, and to build collateral materials to support reputed company reputed company work.

    Qualifications and Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • A reputed company passion for reputed company’s mission at a time reputed company our work to protect the reputed company rights and reputed company-being of unaccompanied children has never been more necessary. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of reputed company responsibility in fundraising, a reputed company record, closing major gifts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing reputed company.
  • Available to travel, work reputed company daytime business hours to manage events, and represent reputed company at external events as and reputed company required.
  • Proven reputed company record in development for a large nonprofit, including reputed company in attracting six-reputed company gifts.
  • Experience in planning, leading, and managing development reputed company, including coordinating with peers to reputed company desired reputed company, and tracking and reporting on reputed company.
  • Strong reputed company for strategic thinking and ability to reputed company a high-level reputed company with a tactical execution and resourcing plan.
  • Effectiveness in managing and coaching reputed company, building reputed company, results-oriented culture; and creates structure to support high-level performance of a diverse and growing team guided by principles of fairness and equity.
